Some planes had a thin cover of camouflage paint
Some planes had thick hand painted camouflage pattern.
APPLYING THE PAINT
After one thin coat, the numbers and the Panzer Grey is still visible underneath.
Then we added more paint. We allowed this to dry between coats. This does not take too long.
Then we added details like slogans and oil stains over the top of the white paint.

This makes it like the actual photograph of the same tanks behind
