These pigments are designed to be applied onto our snow effects to replicate many different stain effects on snow and ice.
They can be thinned with water to achieve the consistency you need. The thinner the pigment, the more it will be drawn into the fresh snow.
The pigments can be applied to our snow whether it is fresh and soft, or hard and set. It will spread more on wet snow though.
After a thinned pigment has been used on your snow effect, you can add a non-thinned amount to the centre to realistically depict the centre of the spread.
